hallo! guten tag! LOL!!

Hallo! I'm Lovely Cristy Lao. I have a chinese family name but I'm Filipino. I do have spanish and german ancestors (mother's side).. and I have chinese ancestry (father's side). My father really looks chinese, but they said chinese blood is not evident in me. lols! Anyway, I'm really a Filipino citizen.. grew up in the Philippines and living a Filipino character. My interest in learning other languages especially deutsch, french, and niponggo motivated me to look for sites that could help me learn other languages. We had Spanish elective back in grade 7, but it was only for one sem. I never got to use the language much so it just slipped from my mind.. but I can still remember some basic spanish words.. like como estas.. sounds similar to our native language--> kamusta... which also means how are you :).. Anyway, I really want to learn deutsch.. I find the german accent really cool.. to learn multiple languages is one of my childhood dreams.. only that I don't have much time anymore coz I'm always busy especially that I'm already in college.. still, I hope you can help me. :)

Hi

Hi, I am Dolly. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Originally from India. I have lived in USA, and now live in UK.

I want to learn many languages, as I think learning a language is a great way to learn more about the world, and different cultures, and of course more literature. Currently I am learning German, and I have just start learning Italian for my holiday in September. I would also like to learn Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin and Esperanto.

Hello Everyone

I'm James and I live in China. I am originally from the US but now I am happily married to a lovely Chinese woman and am very happy in Xi'an China. Xi'an is 750 miles south of Beijing where they will be holding the summer Olympics this year. I also have a website where I have told many stories of my adventures here in China and I have pictures of the Birdsnest ( that's what the Chinese call the Olympic Stadium ) and pictures of my walking the Great Wall, pics of the Forbidden City, seeing the Pandas is Chengdu and the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an and many other things if you're interested. The site is http://www.freewebs.com/jamesinasia I'm having a little difficulty with it at the moment since I put my wife Ying's photo on the front page. So click on anything in the content box at the top right like travel log and on the next page you'll get a full menu. I downloaded the software so I can teach Ying's friends English. Few people in China speak English but many want to learn so I think it is wonderful for Buensoft to make this available.
