The steps shown in the movie are described below:
- Just press on "New Subject" to create your new Buensoft Subject file.
- The program will load the new subject properties window where you will be able to select the language combination, subject title and optionally enter your email address
- In this movie as example I will create a subject file titled "The Days Of The Week" in Spanish for English speakers
- Since I will be recording the phrases in Spanish I will select "Spanish" from the first box then select "English" on the second box since I will be providing the translation in English
- Then type the subject title, it is recommended that you type the subject title in the target language (the language the students for your new subject speak) in this case since I am creating a subject in Spanish for English-Speakers I will type the subject in English: "The Days Of The Week"
- Next you have the option to enter your e-mail address, this e-mail address will help us at Buensoft.com to know who created this subject file, the e-mail is not visible for anyone else...only for us here at Buensoft.
- Press "OK" and you new empty subject file is created. Now you can add phrases simply by clicking on "Add Phrase"
- When you press on "Add Phrase" you will get the Phrase Editor window, here you can type your first phrase, add translation(s) and record your phrase in the source language (in this example the source language is Spanish.
- Make sure you double check that the phrase, translation(s) and audio file is correct then click on "Add Phrase" again to add your phrase to the Subject File. Continue doing this for every phrase, I have added the seven days of the week in this example.
- When finish adding all your phrases, just click on "Save Subject" to save your buensoft subject file in your computer.
- Next, you need to upload your subject file to our Buensoft server. We are currently checking all subject files to make sure all the audio and phrases are appropriate to be used with Buensoft 2008 in order to keep the integrity of our Buensoft project. You can either email us your subject file at care @ buensoft.com or simply use the "Upload Subject" button. Please note that you need to have the subject open in your editor. When you press on the "Upload Subject" button Buensoft will connect to the upload subject page. The Subject Editor will try to complete field for your subject path automatically...if not, you can always browse for your file.
- Just click on "Submit Subject File" and the page will try to upload the subject to us. Uploading can take a few minutes so do not close this window until the file has been successfully uploaded. You will receceive a "Thank You" notice when the file has been uploaded.
That's it! Now you may close the upload window and your subject file as well. We will inspect the subject file within 48 hours and contact you via e-mail regarding your subject file status (only if you have provided an e-mail address with your subject file) If the subject file meets our quality standards we will make it available for download at Buensoft.com.
