Description: The passive voice means that the action of the verb falls on the subject; in other words, the subject receives the action. The past participle of the verb is used with ser to form the passive construction. The verb ser must be in a conjugated form and the past participle must agree with the subject in gender and number. The agent or doer of the action is introduced by the preposition por.
